I came across this article on Google’s moving into mobile analytics. It set me thinking whether conversion happens more on mobile or on a bigger machine, ie pc or laptop. As connectivity on these mobile devices improve, many ideas have come forth from using mobile devices for payment to GPRS etc, I also wonder how m-commerce is performing.
Personally, I find myself connected to Facebook and Twitter mostly through my iPhone as supposed to my laptop. And if I do search, it’s for a map or location. I do remember using a review search on my mobile during some quick hardware shopping. Mobile searches are usually more fun and social related while pc/laptop searches are more heavy weight in nature. So remember to turn off the mobile devices options in your Adwords account to reduce cost and you might be able to see a better ROI.
